Suckfest

This is for yesterday, one of the suckiest days of this week next to my coming birthday on the 12th.

Reason #1
What is this heat?! Tormenting and ridiculous, most likely. My breathing was impaired last night and I was tempted to set the A/C to full blast, but my mother who was fixing this month’s budget gave me the look and decided to hold back before she starts scorning the living daylight out of me. Inulan na ba ni Mother Earth lahat nung summer kaya wala nang natira ngayong pasukan?

Reason #2
Some mobile phone demon possessed my cellphone last night. Everytime I would attempt to type an SMS, it would switch off and on again. I wanted to throw the stupid phone outside my room window pero naalala ko bigla na walang pambili pamalit dun at kung nasira yun, wala ring pampa-repair, so nagtiis na lang ako na masayang ang Unlimited text kaysa maghikahos ang bulsa.

Reason #3
Pati yata landline namin, sinapian din kagabi. We pay our phone bills on time, pero madalas talaga siya magloko. It would go dead at times, no dial tone and all that. My mom decided to cut our line within this month (since she also realized we don’t use the phone that much and most of the time, when we DO need it, ayun, SIRA) and avail of broadband (kung kailan naman college na ko, hindi ko matitikman ang comfort ng broadband connection sa bahay namin)

Reason #4
After a veeeery long cold shower, it was finally time for me to doze off. While I was still wide awake but very much on the verge of sleepiness, I heard something fall from my room ceiling (whatever it was, it brushed against the wall so I knew it fell). I tried to shrug it off but then I heard fluttering sounds, I suspected it was a cockroach. And it was. Damnation. I don’t care if they’re the only creatures on this planet who could survive a nuclear explosion, doesn’t change the fact that this is how I see roaches: PURE EVIL. I freaked out and I went out of my room, doors open, kasi nagpunta siya sa ilalim ng kama ko. I don’t want him crawling (its bad enough that they’re creepy crawlies, what I hate more is when they FLY) armed with one Chuck Taylor on my hand waiting for it to show up. And appeared, it did…after almost an hour. Buwisit talaga yun. I didn’t know what it was doing all that time under my bed but I knew it was there from the wings fluttering. With all my might, I whacked the roach from hell and watched it writhe in pain. Hanggang kamatayan nya sinira nya gabi ko dahil ang tanggal nyang namatay. You gotta understand that I really, really hate cockroaches.

I’ve been nothing but good this summer. Pffft.

Although, today’s good news that I don’t have anything to worry about regarding my scoliosis (less than 15 degrees daw ang estimated curvature ko, and since I’m almost at my maximum bone growth, I don’t have to worry about it becoming worse) made up for yesterday/last night’s mishaps.

(Oh, by the way, I turn 17 on June 12th. Pero wala na kong ililibre ng cheeseburger, dahil nagkaklase na silang lahat :[ )
